Faculty note: Meredith Livingston

Prof. Sarah Meredith-Livingston, of the music faculty and the Arts and Visual Design academic unit, attended the 2009 Wesley Balk Opera-Music Theater Institute held on the Augsburg College campus from June 20-July 12 in Minneapolis. The intensive three-week session concentrates on the basic skills of singing, acting and moving and integrating them into performance. The Institute is part of the professional development program of Nautilus Music-Theater, a group of operatic theater artists known nationally for creating new operas and music theater and exploring classic works in innovative ways.
