Kaye column: Think Lincoln, Washington, FDR… and radicalism
Prof. Harvey Kaye’s latest national opinion column, posted at the Huffington Post and New Deal 2.0, is a relatively gentle push at the current occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Kaye’s column says President Obama needs to embrace the radical (yes, radical) traditions of Washington, Lincoln and Roosevelt “and start harnessing Americans’ persistent democratic aspirations and energies” to do something about our current crises.
