In the news: Helpap talks campaign cash with Press-Gazette
Assistant Prof. David Helpap lent his expertise to a Green Bay Press-Gazette story on campaign finance that ran during the weekend, speaking with reporter Adam Rodewald about the latest fundraising figures in the state’s legislative races. Republican candidates have raised more than double the money of their Democratic opponents, Rodewald reported, a statistic Helpap attributes to the area’s conservative base and the strength of the GOP candidates seeking reelection.
