In the news: Kauth talks private equity report with Fox 11

Ryan Kauth, director of the UW-Green Bay Small Business Development Center, was featured in a Saturday (July 13) Fox 11 News story about a newly released private equity report. The Private Equity Growth Capital Council report ranks Wisconsin 14th in the nation for investment, and shows that private equity firms invested $9 billion in the state last year, the news story says. That’s good news for Wisconsin, Kauth told reporter Beth Jones. “As a state, for Wisconsin to have that number 14 ranking, it says two things. One is that we have good, healthy businesses that companies want to invest in,” Kauth said. “The second thing is that, what this could be saying as an indicator, is that Wisconsin has a good business climate.” Full story.
