Kersten posts to national AFL-CIO blog

UW-Green Bay professor and Clarence Darrow biographer Andrew Kersten finds the spirit of the famous lawyer and progressive crusader alive in current-day disputes over the role of organized labor — including the Green Bay School Board’s recent proposal to mandate an 8-hour workday (8.5, apparently, by union calculations) for local public school teachers. Darrow would champion labor rights as inalienable civil rights, Kersten writes in his essay at the national website of the AFL-CIO; click here.
