In the media: Dale talks GOP Senate primary

Political science Prof. Tim Dale offered some context Wednesday (July 11) for the latest poll numbers surrounding the contest for Herb Kohl’s Senate seat. The latest poll from the Marquette University Law School shows newcomer Eric Hovde gaining on former Wisconsin Gov. Tommy Thompson in the GOP primary. Public policy polling shows Hovde with a slight edge over Thompson — and Dale helped put the numbers in perspective. “I think the big story is that Hovde has gained on the other candidates,” Dale said, “and it really looks like it’s going to be a Hovde-Thompson race.” Full story.
