In the news: Meredith Livingston and trip(s) to Brazilian university

UW-Green Bay Prof. Sarah Meredith Livingston got some ink in Saturday’s (June 23) Green Bay Press-Gazette, after recently returning from a second teaching and performing trip to Brazil. Meredith Livingston last year was awarded a Fulbright Grant and taught for two weeks in July at the University of Sao Paulo-Ribeirao Preto, Brazil. This May, she returned for another teaching visit and sang two performances of the Carmen aria, “Sequidilla,” with the University of Sao Paulo Orchestra at the Teatro Petro Opera Theatre. Meredith Livingston also arranged an invitation for Assistant Prof. David Severtson and Associate Lecturer Chris Salerno to visit the Brazilian university as guest artists next month. Read more.
