Faculty note: Weinschenk publications
Political scientist Aaron Weinschenk, a new assistant professor of Public and Environmental Affairs, recently had a number of peer-reviewed articles accepted for publication. His article \“Campaigns, Mobilization, and Turnout in Mayoral Elections” (co-authored with Thomas Holbrook of UW-Milwaukee) is forthcoming in the journal Political Research Quarterly. His article “Polarization, Ideology, and Vote Choice in U.S. Congressional Elections” is forthcoming in the Journal of Elections, Public Opinion & Parties, and his article “Partisanship and Voting Behavior: An Update” will be published in the September 2013 edition of Presidential Studies Quarterly. In addition, Aaron had an interdisciplinary article, titled “Personality Traits and the Sense of Civic Duty” and drawing upon insights from political science and psychology, accepted at American Politics Research.
