Kraft on recalls: Fake Democrats buying time

UW-Green Bay’s political experts have been in high demand as of late, offering their take on the contentious state budget situation, related recall elections and more. Our own Michael Kraft weighed in on the upcoming recalls in an interview for FOX 11 News that aired Monday night (June 20). Among the topics discussed was the candidacy of what many have termed “fake Democrats” running to ensure a Democratic primary in the legislative races. “The Republicans said they had been so tied up in the state budget legislation that they need more time to prepare for the recall,” Kraft said in the interview. “Democrats of course say no, it’s a stalling tactic in hopes people will be less angry if you wait another 30 days.” Check out the full story.
