Faculty note: Teclezion, Leadership Green Bay


Mussie Teclezion, assistant professor of finance in the Cofrin School of Business, is one of 42 graduates of the 2015 Class of Leadership Green Bay. Leadership Green Bay is a community based leadership program sponsored by the Greater Green Bay Chamber. The individuals selected to the program gather once a month from September to May to “learn about social issues and challenges facing the Green Bay area, get exposure to relevant leadership education and training skills, and become community stewards.” Participants organize into teams and identify a specific community issue requiring attention. For their project, Teclezion’s team has organized a “Bring Back the Beach” event for Saturday, June 27 (noon-4 p.m.) at Bay Beach Amusement Park. The family-friendly, free event will include a historical photo display of the beach, sand activities, fun experiments, face painting, photo booth and more. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the plans and efforts being made to make the beach a reality. All are welcome to attend!
