Toni Damkoehler scores in elite design contest

Assistant Professor of Arts and Visual Design Toni Damkoehler is fielding congratulations these days following announcement of a major award in the world of graphic design. The promotional poster (click on image at left to see larger poster) she designed last spring for the UW-Green Bay Theatre production of “The Sleeper” is among the gold winners in the Graphis Poster Annual 2010.

The recognition places her (and the University) among 100 top designers and design firms recognized by the New York City-based Graphis Inc. Renowned design groups honored this year included Pentagram, Sagameister Inc., Takashi Akiyama, Michael Schwab Studio, Graphic Communication Laboratory, Thoink, and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
