Faculty/staff notes: Reilly, Sanders, Hammerle

Janet Reilly, an assistant professor with the nursing program, has had an article, “Perceived Stress and Sense of Belonging in Doctor of Nursing Practice Students,” was published in the March-April 2009 issue of the Journal of Professional Nursing.

Todd Sanders, Student Affairs webmaster, served as a judge for the 2009 Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) Circle of Excellence Awards.  Sanders judged entries in the Complete and Individual Web Site categories. This is his second year judging the Web Site category for CASE.

Carol Hammerle, former UW-Green Bay women’s basketball coach, was named recipient of the 2009 Dreamers and Doers Award presented at a recent luncheon sponsored by the Green Bay Branch of the American Association of University Women. The event celebrated women’s contributions, past and present, to local history. A successful pioneer as a women’s basketball coach, Hammerle was cited as an advocate for gender equity in sports and as a mentor and role model for generations of female coaches and athletes.
