Faculty notes: Meredith Livingston at Florence, Italy

Music Prof. Sarah Meredith Livingston of Arts and Visual Design represented UW-Green Bay at the 12th Roundtable of the Del Bianco Foundation held in Florence, Italy, in late February. Approximately 40 countries and institutions of higher education were represented by rectors, deans, and faculty members.

The object of the meeting was to propose new cultural and educational initiatives of intercultural dialog and mutual exchanges among students, academicians and professors from the participating countries. Special attention is given to students coming from central and eastern Europe, Eurasia, Asia and the Far East.  The Foundation introduced new possibilities of internships, free spaces for visual art exhibits in Florence, and exciting future initiatives.
