On your marks, get set, go… rilla

You’ve seen her shave her head for charity and take a frigid dip for a good cause. Now, Emily Rogers, Cofrin Library coordinator of public services, is at it again. This time, she was dressed up and dispensing candy last Friday, not as a giant bunny, but as a gorilla. Yeah, it seemed odd to us, too, until we realized Rogers is just back from competing in the 2013 Cincinnati Gorilla Run, in which contestants earn gorilla costumes for raising funds and awareness for Dian Fossey’s cause and the Mountain Gorilla Conservation Fund.
