Cole, Hammerle, Thornton are up for Dreamers and Doers Award

Three with direct University of Wisconsin-Green Bay connections — two current employees and a retiree — are nominees for the American Association of University Women (AAUW) Dreamers and Doers Award. The award is part of the Green Bay chapter’s Celebrate Women’s History Month activities. The UW-Green Bay nominees are Juliet Cole, associate director at the Institute for Learning Partnership, Carol Hammerle, former Phoenix women’s basketball coach, and Jan Thornton, associate provost for Outreach and Adult Access. They are three of six nominees from the region. The award recognition is just one of two days of activities planned by the local AAUW chapter March 13-14 at Heritage Hill State Park.
