Lacey chosen president-elect of Wisconsin Dietetic Association

Karen Lacey, UW-Green Bay senior lecturer in Human Biology, and director of the Dietetic Program, is the new president-elect of the Wisconsin Dietetic Association. Lacey’s three-year term officially starts in June; however, she will begin her duties in March when she chairs the annual conference committee that will be planning the 2011 WDA Spring Conference. Lacey has been active at the state and national levels throughout her career. She is a program reviewer for accreditation of dietetic programs and serves on the American Dietetic Association’s Position Paper Committee, which oversees and develops key messages for the promotion of the profession of dietetics.
