Loebl talks income-tax prep with Channel 5 morning crew

Our own Prof. Jim Loebl got up well before the crack of dawn Tuesday (Feb. 14) to appear live on WFRV, Channel 5’s morning show. During segments that aired at 5:45 and 6:15 a.m., Loebl, Business Administration, talked about UW-Green Bay’s long-running involvement with the IRS’ Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, which prepares income taxes for low-income or elderly individuals at no cost. The program began this week and continues through Thursday, April 5, with students providing help from 5-8 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays (except during spring break, the week of March 12) at three different Green Bay locations.
