Lecturer Karen Dalke (Public and Environmental Affairs) and Assistant Prof. Megan Olson Hunt (Natural and Applied Sciences) recently published an article “Mustangs and Domestic Horses: Examining What We Think We Know About Differences” in the journal Humanimalia. The manuscript used the United States Geological Survey (USGS) ethogram for Free-Roaming Feral Horses to compare behaviors between Bureau of Land Management mustangs and domestic horses.
