Kaye reviews Obama book for ‘Daily Beast’

Prof. Harvey J. Kaye discusses the good, the bad and the exasperating of author and historian Morton Keller’s book “Obama’s Time” in a new review for The Daily Beast. In the provocatively titled “No, Obama Is Not Black Jesus,” Kaye argues that, among other things, Keller is “seemingly determined to portray Obama as having some kind of Messiah complex.” There are parts of the book that made him smile, Kaye notes, but “what Keller says is more often exasperating than entertaining.” Read the full review.
