UW-Green Bay well-represented in ‘Artists of the New North’
Work by faculty artists Minkyu Lee, Christine Style and Stephen Perkins, curator of art, are on exhibit through Feb. 20 at the Bergstrom-Mahler Museum in Neenah. Their pieces were selected for the exhibit “Artists of the New North: A Juried Exhibition.” The show opened last Sunday with a public reception attended by nearly 350 people.
Lee’s pieces are glazed stoneware; Perkins is showing mixed-media photography; and Style’s submissions were a pair of woodcuts with hand painting. Style’s work earned honorable mention in the juried awards. To see thumbnails of the exhibit and the work by UW-Green Bay artists, click here.
