UW-Green Bay and the larger community will have two chances to hear the University’s Wood Family Organ this week, with performances on the instrument planned for noon Friday (Dec. 2) and 7:30 p.m. Saturday (Dec. 3). Friday’s performance will be a recital from Michael Stefanek, a UW-Green Bay staff accompanist and the organist and choral accompanist at First United Methodist Church in Green Bay. Stefanek will take to the keys again Saturday during the UW-Green Bay Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band Concert at the Weidner Center. The organ will be featured on several compositions during that performance. Read more.
