Annual student art show opens Thursday at Lawton

UW-Green Bay’s 38th Annual Juried Student Art Exhibition opens Thursday (Nov. 18) at the Lawton Gallery in Theatre Hall. The exhibition, which showcases 63 artworks by 40 students from across campus, opens with a reception in the gallery from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Fourteen awards totaling about $2,000 will be announced at 5 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. Nicholas Frank, curator at the Institute of Visual Arts at the Peck School of the Arts at UW-Milwaukee, was guest curator.
