Not surprisingly, big Veterans Day program will be on… Veterans Day!

We’ll have more details later, but just wanted to confirm that military-friendly UW-Green Bay will again host its annual Chancellor’s Veterans Reception.  This year’s program will fall on Veterans Day, Thursday, Nov. 11, at 4 p.m. in the University Union Phoenix Room. Guest speaker will be Brown County Executive and UW-Green Bay alumnus Tom Hinz.  The program is open to UW-Green Bay and the larger community.  All veterans and their families are encouraged to attend. The Vets 4 Vets Student Club will be collecting items for care packages to be sent to currently activated service members. Music and refreshments will be provided.
