Reminder: Regents today, with Harden presentation at 10 a.m.

The full UW System Board of Regents convenes at UW-Green Bay today (Thursday, Oct. 6) at 10 a.m. in Phoenix Rooms AB of the University Union. The first hour will be mostly given over to Chancellor Thomas K. Harden and his presentation “UW-Green Bay: Deep Roots, Strong Wings.” The second hour of the morning session will focus on a UW System report involving the increasing number of transfer students and better support of “student mobility.”  All are welcome to attend.

World premiere of ‘This is UW-Green Bay’ video
Actually, some on campus have already seen a sneak preview, but the official first screening of a 10-minute video telling the academic story of UW-Green Bay will take place during Chancellor Harden’s 10 a.m. presentation to the Regents. The video, produced last spring by former Marketing and Communication staff member Robert Hornacek, interviews more than a dozen past and present UW-Green Bay faculty members, students and community members. Together, they offer perspective on why the University’s interdisciplinary academic approach and commitment to sustainability remain especially relevant today. (We’ll link to a YouTube version later today.)
