A reading and talk by novelist/memoirist/knitter Kyoko Mori
Former Green Bay resident Kyoko Mori, who now teaches in the MFA program at George Mason University in Virginia, will return to the area for public appearances including a stop here from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Monday (Oct. 3) in the 1965 Room of the University Union. The event is free and open to the public. Described as an “award-winning novelist, memoirist, essayist, and knitter,” Mori will be reading and discussing her writing. An essay from her new memoir, Yarn: Remembering the Way Home, appeared in The Best American Essays, and she is the author of two other memoirs and three novels.
