Networking Nights bring businesses, campus together

A new campus program, “Networking Nights,” debuted this fall, organized by Career Services. The program provides a forum for professionals to share their knowledge about their company, organization or specific job responsibilities with fellow alumni and current students, faculty and staff. The informal format allows for quick introductions of off-campus presenters followed by Q&A, with hors d’oeuvres and soda/water on the side.

The series opened with a bang this week on Monday, Sept. 22, with about a dozen staff members from Integrys (a major employer of UW-Green Bay grads) being joined by a half dozen faculty and staff members and two dozen students. You’re invited to attend any of the future sessions; drop in any time, with no RSVP required. Networking Nights are 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. every other Monday in Room 103 of the University Union. We’ll carry reminders on future Networking Nights in future LOGs.
