Wheelchair Wash is Saturday in Green Bay

They’re holding a free “Wheelchair Wash” at Options for Independent Living, 555 Country Club Road (near NWTC), from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. this Saturday (Sept. 25). Wheelchairs will be washed and cleaned and given a basic safety check. Co-sponsors include the Aging and Disability Resource Center. Among the individuals promoting the event is UW-Green Bay alumnus Keith Pamperin, Class of 1970, recently honored on campus for his commitment to affordable housing and accessible design.
