Lotsa Lawton: Exhibit opens Thursday; Perkins at Neville this weekend

Lawton Gallery curator Stephen Perkins will share art pieces from Central America from noon-3 p.m. Saturday (Sept. 14) at the Neville Public Museum of Brown County, 210 Museum Place. It’s part of the Museum’s StagePLACE program, which allows artists to work on their art within the MuseumPLACE exhibit, interacting with visitors and sharing work. And while we’re talking Lawton, don’t forget that the campus gallery’s new exhibit, “Milwaukeeists: 1996-2003,” will kick off with an opening reception from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday (Sept. 12), including a guest curator’s talk at 5 p.m. More information on both events is below:
