Diane L. Ford of Green Bay was a most deserving recipient of UW-Green Bay’s highest community honor, the Chancellor’s Award, during spring commencement ceremonies held last month. Ford, a 1975 UW-Green Bay graduate who is vice president and controller of Integrys Energy Group (formerly WPS Resources), is a longtime member of the Chancellor’s Council of Trustees and a founding member of the newly formed University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Foundation, Inc. She is, as Chancellor Thomas Harden said in introducing Ford, “deserving of high accolades, both because of her work in the community and here at UWGB… ” We agree, and we’ve posted video of Ford receiving the honor.
