You may have attended or heard about the successful unveiling celebration Wednesday (May 14), held for UW-Green Bay’s new Leonardo da Vinci statue. We’ll have a story and plenty of great photos in tomorrow’s Log Extra, and we weren’t the only ones covering the big event. The Green Bay Press-Gazette and Fox 11 News also were on hand, and the TV station posted a short story with video from the unveiling. One detail isn’t quite right — the story says da Vinci was gifted by a former student — but there are some great visuals of the statue and Lenfestey Courtyard crowd. You can read some background about the Renaissance man’s path to GB here.
