MAY Foundation Recruit Dinner on Sheboygan Campus
SHEBOYGAN Wis. – On Saturday, May 18th, 2024, the Military and Youth Foundation (MAY Foundation) will be holding its first Recruit Dinner at UW-Green Bay, Sheboygan Campus. Working with the Armed Forces Recruiting Center in Sheboygan, the MAY Foundation invites all recruits leaving for basic training in the near future to a dinner honoring each of them. Their families, recruiting staff, and area business leaders are also invited, and are welcome to show their encouragement of and appreciation for all of the recruits. The MAY Foundation seeks to demonstrate to the recruits the level of community support they have behind them, both now and when they return.
The MAY Foundation works to build a better community by engaging with and supporting military families, veterans, first responders and encouraging youth progamming. To learn more about the MAY Foundation and their mission, visit their website.
This year’s dinner will take place from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., and will be provided by a gracious donation from Texas Roadhouse. The MAY Foundation is excited to thank the rest of the program’s sponsors at the Recruit Dinner. This event is one of several outreach initiatives held by the MAY Foundation to show its appreciation to the veterans in the community.
