Coffeehouse concert on Saturday features college, high school, faculty musicians
Music for the Sake of Music, an end-of-semester coffeehouse concert featuring the music of classic composers from centuries ago as well as modern-day UW-Green Bay, takes place in the Common Grounds Coffeehouse this Saturday, May 16 at 4:30 p.m. Players include Mallory Harmann, Timothy Kiefer, Molly LeCaptain, Megan Resop, Mary Slavek, John Salerno, Donald Yarborough and others. They’ll offer works by Vivaldi, Handel and Bach as well as UW-Green Bay student composers Kevin Cropper, Justin Foth, Kiefer and Tyler Rindo. Also among the performers will be student teacher Michael Lund Ziegler and two of his Green Bay East string pupils, violinist Kassia Frantz and cellist Kevin Sampson.
