Phoenix softball hosts Senior Day, and recognition for Ellen Tellstrom, age 10


Why not take advantage of the nice weather? The Green Bay softball team (16-24, 8-9 HL) welcomes Detroit (8-39, 4-13 HL) to Phoenix Field this weekend with a single game on Friday at 3 p.m., and a doubleheader on Saturday with games at 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. Green Bay will honor the 2015 senior class prior to the games in Saturday’s doubleheader, honoring Lauren Danner, Hailey Mohrfeld and Miranda Spangberg. Ellen Tellstrom, age 10 and battling health issues but a team member nonetheless thanks to the Team Impact program, will be honored at the game on Friday and throw out the first pitch. For more.
