Natural and Applied Sciences together with the Packerland Chapter of the American Meteorological Society are pleased to welcome Jeff Last, warning coordination meteorologist for the Green Bay office of the National Weather Service, as he presents “Storm Spotter Training” in the Christie Theatre this Thursday (April 30), at 7 p.m. Last will discuss the various types of severe weather, its causes and effects, and most important, how to detect the warning signs of impending dangerous weather before it occurs. His presentation is free and open to the public.
