Reminder: Year’s final ‘After Thoughts’ features Bartell
Don’t forget the final After Thoughts program of the 2012-13 academic year, taking place next Tuesday (April 9) in the Grand Foyer at the Weidner Center for the Performing Arts. Associate Prof. Denise Bartell, Human Development and Psychology, will present “What’s Love (and Sex) Got to Do With It?: Women, Men and College Success,” focusing on the romantic lives of college students, an often-overlooked aspect of the postsecondary experience that has tremendous potential to influence the likelihood of college success. The event begins with mingling and hors d’oeuvres at 5 p.m., with Bartell’s talk starting at about 5:45 p.m. Full details.
