Mark your calendar for ‘Waste’ and EMBI Green Innovations

The UW-Green Bay Environmental Management and Business Institute (EMBI) will host “Green Innovations 2011,” its annual symposium during Earth Week, Wednesday, April 20 and Thursday, April 21.

This year’s symposium has the theme “Waste or Wasted Opportunity.” On the agenda are sessions on agricultural, industrial, and municipal/institutional waste; how to start a waste transformation business; tools for business and industry; and the Wisconsin premiere of the award-winning documentary, “DIVE! Living Off America’s Waste,” with a post-documentary panel forum led by the film’s director, Jeremy Seifert.
