Don’t forget: Women’s History Month events kick off tonight (Thursday)
An engaging series of Women’s History Month events begins tonight at UW-Green Bay, when speaker Jennifer Baumgardner gives her provocatively titled address, “Putting the F’em in Feminism” (the name is a play on her recently published book) at 7 p.m. in MAC Hall 210. Baumgardner is an award-winning filmmaker, activist, writer and professor whose work explores abortion, sex, bisexuality, rape, single parenthood and women’s power. The event is free and open to the public. For a full list of on-campus Women’s History Month events, see our news release.
