Newspapers feature March 13 After Thoughts, speaker Hollingsworth

Interest is building for alumna Laura Hollingsworth’s Tuesday, March 13 After Thoughts address, which will offer a unique and up-close look at the ever-evolving media landscape. Hollingsworth, president and publisher of The Des Moines Register and a 1989 UW-Green Bay graduate, will deliver an address titled “Leading through Transformative Change: Lessons from the Media Trenches,” which will include discussion of the first-in-the-nation Iowa caucuses, during the 5-7 p.m. event. It is the third session of the year for After Thoughts, the popular UW-Green Bay series for women. The Door County Advocate on Wednesday (Feb. 28) ran a story about the event, and Hollingsworth, who is a Sturgeon Bay High School graduate.
