Student directs ‘Copenhagen’ play

UW-Green Bay senior Matt Fayfer directs an upcoming production of the play “Copenhagen.” The play, scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Feb. 12, 13 and 14 in the University Theatre, features three actors depicting a mysterious meeting between nuclear physicists Neils Bohr and Werner Heisenberg in Nazi-occupied Denmark near the beginning of World War II. “While the play’s subject matter may seem a bit heavy, the audience will find enjoyment from the intellectual stimulation offered by listening to Bohr and Heisenberg argue the issue back and forth,” Fayfer said.
