Meredith Livingston recital to spotlight Czech, Slovak repertoire

Associate Prof. Sarah Meredith Livingston will perform works by Czech and Slovak composers during a faculty voice recital at 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10. The concert, which is free and open to the public, is a culmination of Meredith Livingston’s work as a UW-Green Bay research scholar for the 2012-13 academic year. Accompanied by pianist Timothy Cheek of the University of Michigan, Meredith Livingston will perform works by such renowned Czech composers as Antonin Dvorak, Leos Janacek and Vitezslava Kapralova; and such well-known Slovak composers as Mikuláš Schneider-Trnavský, Viliam Figus-Bystry and Eugen Suchon. Assistant Prof. Courtney Sherman will perform with Meredith Livingston during portions of the recital. More details.
