Wisconsin Space Grant scholarships, research awards

The Wisconsin Space Grant Consortium, headquartered on the UW-Green Bay campus, invites applications for NASA/WSGC Scholarships, Research Awards (also 2009 summer session), and Fellowships for the 2009-2010 academic year. The programs are as follows (click on programs below for more information online):

    Undergraduate Scholarship:
    Purpose: Scholarships to support outstanding undergraduate students interested in pursuing aerospace, space science, or other interdisciplinary space-related studies or research. Awards: Up to $1,500* for the 2009-2010 academic year.

    Undergraduate Research Award:
    Purpose: Research awards to support qualified undergraduate students in their efforts to create and implement a small research study of their own design that is directly related to their interests and career objectives in space science, aerospace, or space-related studies. Awards: Up to $3,500* independent research award for the 2009 summer session or 2009-2010 academic year.

    Graduate Fellowship:
    Purpose: Partial graduate fellowship awards to support outstanding graduate students pursuing aerospace, space science, or other interdisciplinary space-related graduate, independent research or design. Awards: Up to $5,000 independent research award for the 2009 summer and/or 2009-2010 academic year.

    Dr. Laurel Salton Clark Memorial:
    Purpose: Fellowship to support a graduate student pursuing studies in the fields of environmental or life sciences, whose research has an aerospace component. Additionally, the WSGC seeks to support those students who personify the qualities of leadership, intellectual balance, and an ongoing commitment to improving the human condition that were the hallmarks of Dr. Clark’s life. Awards: Up to $5,000 independent research award for the 2009 summer and/or 2009-2010 academic year.
