Furloughed UW-Green Bay co-workers get basketball perk

The Green Bay Athletics Department is looking to brighten the mood of University co-workers facing state-mandated furloughs. One way they’ll try is by offering UW-Green Bay faculty and staff free basketball tickets around two of the University’s furlough days. Faculty and staff members can obtain up to four free tickets to the women’s basketball game against South Dakota on Tuesday, Dec. 28 at 7 p.m. as well as for the men’s basketball game versus UIC on Saturday, Jan. 15 at 7 p.m. Reserving tickets is easy: Click the links below for the men’s or women’s basketball Furlough Day’s Game you’d like to attend. (Yes, you can reserve up to 4 tickets per game.) Tickets will be mailed via campus mail or held at “will call” depending on when you complete your request.
