Plan for 15th annual Faculty Development Conference, in January

“Collaborative Learning” is the theme for the 15th Annual Faculty Development Conference to be held Jan. 20, 2011, in the University Union. The keynote speaker is the renowned scholar, educator, and consultant Elizabeth Barkley. Her areas of interest include engaging students through active and collaborative learning; transforming F2F and online curriculum to meet the needs of diverse learners (especially those from new and emerging generations); and connecting learning goals with outcomes and assessment. There is no charge, but you must pre-register to attend.
