Finnish delegation to share global look at paper industry

Carl G. Björnberg, who helped guide the Finnish paper firm Myllykoski Corp. into one of the world’s largest producers of publication papers, will be talking about the future of the paper industry, Tuesday (Oct. 27) at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.

Bjornberg, who is also past chairman of the Confederation of European Paper Industries, will address: “Where on earth is the Paper Industry going and why.”

Bjornberg’s presentation will be from 3 to 4 p.m., in Phoenix Room A in the University Union. Afterward there will be a round table discussion. This event is free and open to the public.

The lecture and roundtable come in the midst of a busy three-day visit to the area by Bjornberg and a Finnish delegation that will not only tour the campus, but visit area businesses and cultural sites.
