Reminder: Flu shots

Flu shots will be dispensed on a first-come, first-served basis Thursday, Nov. 6, and Friday, Nov. 7, in Counseling and Health, Room 1400 of the Student Services Building. The hours are 1 to 4 p.m. on Nov. 6 and 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Nov. 7, or until the vaccine runs dry. Bring campus ID along with cash, check or PassPoints ($15 students, $20 faculty/staff). Common-sense preventive measures include avoiding crowds during flu season; staying home when sick; covering your cough and nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing; washing your hands; avoiding rubbing your eyes or touching your nose or mouth; keeping your immune system healthy by eating a well balanced diet; increasing your fluid intake; and getting adequate sleep and regular exercise.
