Library offers new laptop check-out for use onsite
The Cofrin Library is excited to announce that they now have a laptop checkout service! “We have ten laptop computers available for campus library users (students, faculty, and staff) to check out for up to three hours at a time,” says Jessie Moore, reference/instruction librarian. The laptops are HP PCs and run Windows 7. The laptops must be used in the library, and because the log-in will default to a general account, any work done on the laptops should be saved to a flash drive or e-mailed to a personal e-mail account before turning the laptop back in to the library. Anything saved on the computer itself will be lost, so make sure you have what you need before you return it. The library hopes you’ll find this new service useful. If you have questions or would like to check out one of the new laptops, please bring your UW-Green Bay ID to the 3rd floor of the library and ask at the new Circulation and Reference Desk!
