A small change to Keep Campus Beautiful Day

Join Academic and Classified Staff personnel in an effort to keep campus beautiful. They will be picking up trash at noon and after work on campus next Thursday, Oct. 23. Work alone or with a team. Simply RSVP Linda Parins (parinsl@uwgb.edu) and tell her you’re happy to help. (Note: It was announced earlier the cleanup would concentrate on Arboretum areas outside Circle Drive. It now looks as though cleanup will focus on areas inside the Circle, closer to the central campus.) Parins will give you or your team your assignment. Gloves and trash bags will be delivered to your office for the big day. You simply pick up trash, leave the bags where directed, and feel great about your contribution. Faculty and students are welcome to participate! The Academic Staff Programming Committee and the Classified Staff Advisory Council members say no trash-picker-upper will be denied!

Your contribution to campus cleanup is timely. Coming up on campus are some noteworthy public events including the annual student-led Steps to Make a Difference Walk, Saturday, Oct. 25 and the Horizon League Cross-County Championships Nov. 1. The annual Jingle Bell Run/Walk® for arthritis starts at the Kress Events Center on Saturday, Dec. 6.
