UW-Green Bay students in Europe during travel alert

The U.S. Department of State has issued a travel alert for all of Europe because of potential terrorist attacks. This semester there are nine UW-Green Bay students studying abroad in Europe, according to Brent Blahnik, the director of the Office of International Education. Blahnik says he has emailed all of the students studying abroad in Europe reminding them of the safety precautions they should be taking. While the State Department did issue an alert, it is not suggesting travelers suspend or cancel their plans.
