Next Lawton exhibit is ‘Figuring it Out’
We’re less than one week out from the second Lawton Gallery art show of the fall semester. The exhibit “Figuring it Out” will feature the work of five Wisconsin artists — David Lenz, Gina Litherland, Nancy Mladenoff, Charles Munch and Fred Stonehouse — who use the human figure in a variety of different ways in their works. The opening reception is 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. next Thursday (Oct. 9) at the gallery with brief talks by Munch and Stonehouse. Prior to the reception, Stonehouse will offer a free public lecture to art students, faculty and others from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. in Studio Arts Room 350. We’ll have a link to a full news release in a future Log.
