Harden will be opening speaker for LGBTQ Brown Bag series, Sept. 26

The LGBTQ Information and Resource Center is pleased to announce that Chancellor Harden is the guest speaker for the first gathering in the Resource Center’s Brown Bag Series. The first Brown Bag gathering, set for Wednesday (Sept. 26) from noon to 1 p.m., is in the Christie Theater, UU 157. The session will focus on questions students, staff and faculty may have about safety on campus. It will be conducted in a town hall style; organizers say that, due to the limited amount of time to discuss this important topic, cards will be available for participants to write their questions so any questions that cannot be covered during this gathering can be addressed later. Participants are encouraged to bring their lunches to eat during the question and answer session. Light refreshments will be available, and all individuals, not only LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans or questioning) are invited to participate in the dialog concerning campus safety for all.
